MIDDLETOWN & POUGHKEEPSIE – JGS, CPA has named RJ Martucci as the firm’s newest partner, effective January 1, 2020.
“RJ has been a reliable and hard-working member of the team and his commitment to client service will make him a valuable asset in the role of partner,” Jason Giordano, managing partner, said.

Martucci’s accounting career started at Susquehanna University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy. After graduation, he did audit and compliance work for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington D.C.

In 2011, he started with JGS, CPA (then Judelson, Giordano & Siegel) and has served as manager and director. He specializes in accounting and auditing, business advisory services, tax planning and preparation. Martucci focuses on the firm’s niche in craft beverage producers and beer distributors. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and active with many local nonprofit organizations. Martucci is the current chairperson of the Leadership Orange Board of Directors and vice chair of the Board of Directors of Inspire.

JGS has embraced a model that finds strength in diversity at the top level. That’s why the partners vary in age and specialty. It’s part of the firm’s sustainable internal succession plan. Tax, audit, business valuation, forensic accounting and estate planning are all represented among the six partners.

JGS, CPA, PC is a full service accounting, tax and advisory firm serving the Hudson Valley for over 85 years. The firm has offices in Middletown and Poughkeepsie. Part of the firm’s success was built on three things that have remained the same throughout the years: personalized service, strong ethics and valuable accounting expertise. For generations, JGS has helped businesses pass from parents to children, move in new directions and grow at competitive paces, and through it all, the firm has remained the home of some of the Hudson Valley’s most trusted advisers.
