Managing Partner

Jason T. Giordano, CPA, CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst), MST, is a shareholder and the managing partner of JGS, CPA, P.C., and has been with the firm since 1997.

Jason joined JGS, CPA, P.C. from Deloitte, one of the Big Four accounting firms, to focus on all aspects of tax accounting. As a tax specialist, he provides strategy, tax planning, compliance, tax return preparation and representation for companies in a range of industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, construction and healthcare.

As a Certified Valuation Analyst, he provides valuation services to a broad range of clients.

Committed to delivering the highest professional level of advice and service, Jason’s broad experience includes the ability to implement systems to meet any user and enterprise need.

Jason currently sits on the board of directors of many local civic and charitable organizations.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Taxation, with Honors, from Washington School of Law, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jason is a member of NACVA, (National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts).

Bonnie J. Orr, CPA, is a shareholder of JGS, CPA, P.C. Bonnie began her career in public accounting in 1981.

In addition to providing tax and accounting advice to a wide range of closely held businesses, Bonnie specializes in the area of estates and trusts. Bonnie works closely with clients and their attorneys, providing estate and personal tax planning strategies to maximize the transfer of wealth to future generations, and provide for a long and comfortable retirement without losing sight of a client’s current financial needs.

Bonnie has worked extensively in the complex areas of the generation skipping tax, living trusts, life insurance trusts, personal residence trusts, charitable remainder trusts, special needs trusts and family limited partnerships.

Bonnie currently serves as an officer and board member of several local charities. She is also a past president of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council.

Bonnie received her Bachelor of Science degree from LeMoyne College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Gary Cassiello

Gary Cassiello, CPA, ABV (Accredited in Business Valuations), CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) is a shareholder of JGS, CPA, P.C. and has been with the firm since 1987.

Gary brings to the clients of JGS, CPA, PC his experience with a “Big Four” accounting firm and an extensive and diverse background in closely held manufacturing, distribution, construction / development, and service businesses. He has extensive knowledge of accounting for beer distributors and has been a featured speaker at the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s annual conference.

Gary services a wide variety of closely held companies where he focuses on providing the tax planning and business advisory services businesses depend on for growth and survival. Gary focuses on the firm’s commercial and not-for-profit audit practices as well as litigation support and specializes in business valuations of closely held companies. He also oversees the forensic accounting services. He is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to perform both business valuations and to perform forensic accounting investigations and has experience in many industries.

He has performed work as a court-appointed expert in both New York Supreme Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court. He has provided testimony in both Courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has also provided reports and testimony on business loss from breach of contract, lost profits, reduction in goodwill, unjust enrichment and related issues. He has made presentations to students, accountants, lawyers, law enforcement and others on business valuation / succession planning and forensic accounting / fraud issues.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Fordham University, Gary is a past president of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs, as well as a member of several community organizations.

Rob Unger, CPA, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) is a partner at JGS, CPA, P.C. and has been with the firm since 1996.

Rob provides a wide variety of services which include tax planning and preparation, business advisory services, accounting and auditing.  He assists and advises clients ranging from small entrepreneurial startups to large publicly traded corporations.  As the firm’s audit partner, Rob oversees audits for commercial entities, non-for-profit organizations, and large employee benefit plans.  In his role as the partner in charge of forensic accounting, Rob participates in fraud examinations and litigation support services as well as due diligence services in merger and acquisition transactions.

A Cum Laude graduate of Marywood University, Rob is a member of the board of directors for the Dispute Resolution Center.  He is a past board member of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.   Rob is also a current member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Domenick T. Del Rosso, CPA, MST is a partner at JGS, CPA, P.C. and has been with the firm since 2003.

Domenick specializes in tax planning and strategy for business and individual clients.  Domenick prides himself on proper tax management which provides for sound guidance, reliable advice and proper year- end tax projections.  He makes sure to stay current with the ever-changing tax legislation.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a past member of the board of directors of the local chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary College and his Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

R.J. Martucci

R.J. Martucci

Ralph J. (RJ) Martucci, CPA, is a shareholder of JGS, CPA, P.C. and began his career in 2006.

RJ joined JGS, CPA, P.C. in 2011 after spending years with PricewaterhouseCoopers performing auditing and consulting services for Government agencies, including defense and intelligence agencies, in the Washington, DC metro area. Though he provides a number of services from auditing to financial statement management and analysis to tax planning and preparation, RJ has worked with a niche group of Firm clients in the craft beverage and distribution space. Within the craft beverage space, RJ has worked with both brewers and distillers to get the financial components of their businesses setup and operating.  He works alongside these clients managing cash flow, enhancing internal controls and procedures, and assisting with funding.

Committed to serving his community, RJ is active on many not-for-profit organization boards and committees.  RJ has held executive positions on all boards he has served.

RJ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University and was a four year member of the men’s golf team.  He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
