Intern
Tax:
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and not-for-profit tax returns to meet government requirements and deadlines and client expectations
- Prepare individual tax projections to ensure proper tax planning for the client
- Prepare payroll tax reports and property tax reports to ensure compliance
- Maintain a working knowledge of individual and corporate tax laws
- Maintain a working knowledge of tax preparation software used at the firm
- Perform other accounting duties as necessary to meet the responsibilities of the position and client expectations
Audit:
- Responsible for auditing select areas of a client balance sheet and income statement
- Prepare client assistance requests, and appropriate follow-up and evaluation
- Assist with or prepare financial statements and other related reports
- Apply the pronouncements of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the AICPA

Public Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statement engagements
- Assist clients with technical accounting, regulatory & compliance and industry questions
- Prepare and/or Assist with tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Keep up-to-date on new accounting pronouncements, interpretation of pronouncements, and possess the ability to apply them to financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of three years public accounting experience
- CPA designation preferred
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Proficient with CCH Software products, including Pfx Engagement, Tax and Knowledge Coach (CCH Axcess experience a plus)

Auditor
Responsibilities (audit-specific):
- Planning the audit: work closely with audit partner to gain an understanding of the entity and its environment, to identify risks (including fraud risks) and develop a plan to address those risks, including establishing testing procedures and determining sample sizes, and prepare necessary communications with the client, their governance board/committee and others who play a role in completing the engagement.
- Executing the audit: work with audit team members to complete testing procedures, along with documenting results of those procedures and determining the level of evidence gathered in order to provide an audit opinion to the client. Communicate with audit partner the progress of the engagement and to address items of relevance.
- Wrapping up the audit: prepare the audited financial statements and all required disclosures, work with the audit partner during the review process to close any open areas, and delivery and review of finalized audited financial statements with the client and governance.
